We've crossed over to the dark side. But for a good reason! Our new black Hurley, black Tux, and black Jive help us recycle an additional 120 pounds of Zogoflex every week. The black magic happens when we combine multi-colored materials, that we were previously unable to recycle into one of our standard bright colors, and add a touch of black!  Voilà - a near zero waste dog toy is born!

 

Step 1 Grind: We grind scraps of Zogoflex material from old colors, returns or excess material that comes from our injection molding machine during the molding process.

		Step 2 Combine: Since 2006, we have used the same color of regrind material to make our standard colors. THE CHALLENGE: When we had discontinued or excess colored toys, we were unable to use it. But now we can mix it up!
	Step 3 Re-Use: With the introduction of Black Zogoflex, we just add a little black to any color.  This allows us to utilize even more of our recycled Zogoflex material than ever before.  We now use up to 120 pounds per week of previously unusable materials.
