The Barn "mice" arrived in a soft package and I placed it under the Christmas tree hoping to open it for my family's beloved feline on Christmas Day, but almost immediately said cat was inspecting the package, sniffing it, and trying to bite the envelope right away, so I opened the package and tossed a Barn Mouse at the cat. She quickly began going crazy - wrestling, pawing, and playing with the Mouse for at least 20 minutes! I've never seen her so active and excited before, so this is already a great purchase.

Our 5 cats, a rescued DSH, 3 Bengals, and a Savannah absolutely love the Barn Mouse, as well as all of the West Paw Design toys that we have received. They are sturdy enough for our hybrids (we do have to remove the tails so they won't eat them), and our domestic loves to hop and play with them too. I can also recommend their selection of dog toys, which are even sturdier if you have Bengals and Savannahs, especially the Jive Balls, as ours love to play in water, and this product floats! I love the great customer service, and the fact that they are American Made...Thank you West Paw!

Like all the West Paw toys, the cats love this. This particular design has the added benefit of looking quite realistic from a distance. A visiting friend spotted it in a distant corner and was quite convinced it was a real mouse. She politely asked,"Why do you have a mouse when you have cats?" When I revealed it as a toy and asked her why she would expect a real mouse to remain so still, she said she thought it was sleeping.

This is my cat's favorite toy. He loves to play with it or just lick it and fall asleep with it. I never thought I would spend this much on a toy for him but I am really glad that I did. I even bought him a second one in the other color today.
