Very nice cat lure with a wooden handle/rod. Makes it more sturdy. Cats loved it.

The rod and the string are great. The feathery thing is too light and the feathers come off and my cat tries to eat them. So I just took that off and put on a regular toy mouse and now we use it all the time.

my cats really like the kitty lure caster. I'm not that great at casting, but they're patient with me.

My cats all LOVE this toy. They got it as a hand me down and it's 6 yrs old now. The caterpillar (not feather lure which we never saw) that is tied onto the string is worn out and my daughter broke the stick a while ago but they still love it. I'm finally going to order another one. It's quality stuff.

Of all his toys -- store-bought or found objects -- this is our cat's absolute favorite. We have to keep it in a closet so that he won't rip the lure to pieces too quickly; whenever we open the closet for any reason, he's immediately on the scene, begging us to get it down so he can play with it. It's great exercise for him as well. We definitely recommend it.
