We ordered a small for our 25 lb dachshund/beagle and a medium for our 60lb rott/german shephard. They fit perfectly in them, if I were to buy them again I would maybe go up a size on each so they had a bit more room but they love these beds. I would say the small is perfect for a very small dog or cat. I have washed these several times and they show no wear, also they don't attract fur like other beds we have which is great. Best beds we have bought, will definitely be getting all West Paw beds from now on.

We love the Hemp Bumper bed because our dog, Woody, loves it. He had gotten in the bad habit of sleeping on our bed, but now that he has the Hemp Bumper bed, we have our bed back! He loved it from day one, he can stretch out or snuggle up and rest his head on the bumper, it is perfect. We love the modern design, the sustainability of the fabric and filling and the ease of removing the covers for cleaning.

Though the size ordered and received was large, it might be a fit for a Cocker Spaniel but is certainly not for a Golden Retriever, and a small one at that.

I have returned the bed and am awaiting an "extra large" -- and will see if my trim, 60 pound Golden can lie comfortably in it.

We ordered three beds. A bumper bed for the cats (one fits at a time), a larger bumper for the dog, and one of the easy entrance/low sided beds for the same dog (figure we'll donate her least favorite to a shelter). Hours after unpacking the beds, all FIVE our pets were cozy among the three beds. They chose them over the sofas, the cat climber, and the old beds on the floor. Overall, the one without the bumper seems to be the favorite, as one of the cats likes to snuggle up at one edge, next to the wall. Our dog is 14, and although she gets up on the sofa and will still chase deer in the woods, it seems like she prefers NOT to have to step over the bumper to get into snoozing position. (I prefer the look of the bumper bed, but this is not about me!). I know we will be laundering these often so I'm excited for the sturdy hemp. We've never spent this much on animal beds, but have some of the basic flat fleece beds from this company from years ago and they've been great (through the laundry many times). Now as our pets are aging, they needed a bit more cushion. Also were looking for an eco-friendly company made in USA. Thanks from our critters!

I purchased 2 of the XL Hemp Beds, the size is perfect for my large dogs. They look great but the inner pillow is very bumpy and doesn't stay tucked into the bumper at all, I am always having to straighten it out or try and shake it back into place. I am going to look to see what else I can use for the inner pillow stuffing. I also have 2 of the medium bumpers (non-hemp) for my smaller dogs and they hardly seem to come untucked from the bumper.

Our dog loves her new bed! When it first arrived she got in and didn't get out for a full day and night. The quality is excellant and the color is neutral. Great product by a great company.

This bed is wonderfully made and very comfortable for our pug. I would buy it again if it ever wears out.
