Our beagle loves the Heyday Bed for dogs

By: Steve Steuber - Burnsville, MN May 21, 2013

We purchased the Heyday Bed for Dogs. Our beagle took to sleeping in it right away. A big reason why we bought from this company is that these beds are made in the USA and the beds are made in a environmental sustainable process. Thanks a lot!

Perfect for my senior Lab

By: Kim G. - Marengo, IL May 15, 2013

I have a 12.5 year old senior Lab gal that I adopted a year ago. She's a bit arthritic and likes to lay out..I believe she was kept too long, too young in a crate. :( Anyway, I purchased the HeyDay bed for her in Sage and it's a great bed for her to lay down in. She needed the XL (weighs 65lbs) and takes advantage of all the space. Her head rests perfectly on the bumper edging and it's not so soft that she can't get up with her weak back end. Very satisfied with this purchase and hope she's going to be lovin' it up for as long as she's here with us.

Drifter dog bed

By: memowa - Washington State Mar 06, 2013

I purchased two of these beds for our dog crates. They seem to like them and we shall see if the clean up, wear and tear also hold up so the humans can like them as well. The small is a bit large for the crates which makes for a very cushy base.

Need to clean your pet bed?  No problem - these beds were designed to be washed again and again.  You can wash the entire bed, cover and inner-pillows:

For spot cleaning:

  • Simply wipe with a damp cloth - most dirt, mud, drool, and hair comes right off.

For deep cleaning:

You may wash the entire pet bed.  Since every washer and dryer are different, we recommend different strategies to different people. If you have a machine that is known to be tough on clothing (catching or tearing fabric), then we suggest you leave the insert pillow in its cover during the wash. However, if your washer machine is a front loading machine with a gentle history, then you may separate the pillow insert from the cover, inspect inserts, and wash all parts:
  • Machine Wash on COLD/COLD using GENTLE cycle.
  • Machine Dry on LOW heat or AIR DRY. (See note #2 below)
Important Notes:
  1. If there is a tear in the white covering, or if an area of weakness is noticed, be sure to have these areas fixed or replaced before washing. If a damaged pillow is washed, the IntelliLoft® fill could clog drains (not to mention is no fun to clean up).
  2. When drying our larger size beds, be sure that the bed is freely tumbling.  If one area of the bed is pushed against the heating element and does not rotate, the heat could damage the fabric.
  3. Be sure to "zip close" any zippers. This helps protect the zipper during the wash and gives it a longer life.
