I was really excited to order this product after reading so many of the positive reviews. Unfortunately, my 18 month old lab mix has chewed too many chunks out of this toy to continue letting her play with it. She only played with it for 3 days when we had to take it away from her. This has outlasted every other toy we tried. Normally, she chews them up in under 5 minutes.

We've been through every toy on the internet and in the stores. Aside from hard as rock nylon bones, this is the only toy that has outlasted our 3 golden retriever, 1 great pyrenees toy testing team. They chew and chew, pull, carry, and play with these hurleys constantly. They love the squishiness of the material. After one year the first one is still intact. We now have one of each color and they are never ignored.

My 2 Cavaliers may look tiny and adorable but I'm getting exhausted with all the toys they are able to get through! This by far took them the longest but pieces were getting ripped off it after 3 days. Better than everything else though!

I had been looking for a toy that my Dobermans could not destroy. I have tried everything and spent a small fortune doing it. They needed something soft to chew on without destroying it in 2 minutes. I saw this is the store and thought that I would give it a try. Well, I got home and gave it to one of my Dobermans and that was 2 years ago. She has only managed to take small pieces and I do mean small out of the ends. She loves this toy!
If you have a big dog or a chewer, this is MUST HAVE TOY!!! I am planning on getting more.

My 8-month old Chihuahua-Poodle puppy loves the Mini Hurley.
He is only 5 pounds but is a bomb of energy and adores playing fetch
and rough like a bigger dog.
Any way we can find to expend his high energy is a blessing, as it is too cold in winter for walks outside. He torments his older sister constantly to play, which she does not appreciate. So we are always looking for ways to keep him occupied and tire him out. Thanks so much for acknowledging tiny dogs who play hard!

This is the only toy brand approved in our Doggie Day Care! We have had several of the Bumi,Huck, and Hurley's that have lasted forever! With 40-60 dogs playing with them per day - I would say they are the most durable toy on the market! The dogs did manage to tear up the Zisc, but being thinner materials that was to be expected. We recommend this toy brand to everyone!

My 10LBS yorkie chews though everything which is surprising for a little dog.. but toys are his favorite and his mission in life is to destroy them all. HOWEVER he can not seems to get though this one. It is amazing!!! I was sold on the "money back guarantee" but it looks like we wont be needing that. my dog chews on his hurley non stop all day ever day and there is not one dent, chuck missing, nothing. I wish they made more toys like these considering we already own all of them!! I heard it works in water too, but i have yet to test that because i don't want to lose it!!!

One of my cocker spaniels is an avid chewer. She has fractured two teeth on real bones. I bought this as a safe alternative for her to chew on and not break anymore teeth. She loves it and I couldn't be happier!

My black lab's only undestroyed toy. He left it in the yard and it witheld a lawnmower too.

I was a bit wary of buying this toy due to the price and also as I have two Staffordshire Bull terriers toys don't ever seem to last more than 5 minutes. I needn't have worried!! This toy is fantastic!!! I was given to them on christmas day and has only 1 tiny dent from thier teeth and they play tug with it everyday. I have already recommeneded it to the breeder we got one of our dogs from!!
I would highly recommend this toy to anyone who has a bull breed or heavy chewing dog...as yet i have found nothing that beats it.

We have a year old Pit Bull Mix that has destroyed every toy that we have given her. She will not play with them, she chews on them and eats them when she tears them up. I decided to buy her a Tire Biter toy because it seemed pretty durable. She had it destroyed in less than 5 minutes. I Google searched the toughest dog toy in the world, and the Hurley popped up. I bought it, and she has chewed on it religiously for 3 days now and it does not have any marks on it anywhere. The material is amazing. When she is chewing on it, you can see her teeth sink in the material, but it does not pierce it. I was impressed when it lasted 30 minutes. We will be buying more of this material toys for sure.. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

We purchased 2 hurleys and 1 huck for our doggie day care. We have had them for a 1 month now with VERY little damage (There are tiny puncture holes in it from the one puppy, who has since lost her puppy teeth). The toy have survived rough play with 3 big labs, wheatens, german sheps, etc. etc. After we tested the 3 out we will order more! Toys usually only last a day or two here at day care, so we don't mind paying $10 a toy or so when we know it will last! Thanks for making them non-toxic and in the USA!! And we love that the blue and green match our store logo!!

This may be the best toy ever. My English Bull Terrier (Alice) and mutt (Ripley) can destroy any toy in less than 30 minutes except The Hurley. They play tug of war with it and twist it around but it has still survived for more than a year.

I have a one year old weimaraner who destroys every toy given in minutes. The hurley survived 6 months before its death. I have recommended to many of my friends. Will be buying more.

Penny is a 3 year old Setter, Collie mix (about 45lbs) and she tore a chunk out of the Hurley bone in less than 10 minutes :( It lasted for even less time than the Kong Extreme which took her about 20 minutes to destroy. I will be returning it and hope that maybe it was just a bad bone?

The Hurley saved us! I never write reviews, but wanted to review this because I want anyone who has an aggressive chewer and who was skeptical about these toys like I was to BUY THIS NOW! We have a golden retriever (now almost 2 yrs) who is a VERY aggressive chewer. He loves to carry toys in his mouth, but if he figures out that he can chew it up, that's it! He can chew up kongs (yes, even the black ones) and anything else out there labeled as "tough" or "indestructible". These zogoflex toys are AWESOME, and the ONLY thing that he has not been able to chew up within 5 minutes. I think the Hurley is the toughest, and I would recommend trying that first if you have a very aggressive chewer. Our dog loves the Tux the most, probably because eventually he has been able to chew off very small pieces (but that's after almost a year of serious chewing!), the huck is also great for outdoor play. We did not have luck with the zisc or bumi, those were chewed within minutes. I love this toy! We have 3 of them!

I love this product! I have a whippet mix and a black lab and both are avid chewers. No toy lasts long in our house. The lab loves to play fetch with his hurley and has been unsuccessful in destroying it and we have had it for over a year. This is so impressive to me as even the black kong was no match for him. My whippet mix has no interest in the hurley at all, although she doesn't like any toys that she can't destroy. Her hurley was stolen by the neighbor dog, but I think she enjoys it, so that's ok. We definitely recommend the hurley!

I have an American Staffordshire who has broken and torn any toy I gave him. He has had his hurley for 3 years now - not a scratch and he loves and and chews on it all the time. I (we) can only recommend it!!!

Love this toy, and it lasted longer than most toys I get my pooch, but he did manage to rip it to bits in under a week. Most toys are lucky to survive the first 5 minutes intact, so I was over the moon that he didn't rip this to bits immediately.

He loved it, and we played with it, but it's now in pieces all over the house. But definately one of the most durable toys he's had. Two thumbs up.

This toy is great for our German Shepherd! This is the only toy since she was a puppy that she has not been able to destroy in 15 mins!! We have had it since Friday and she has not been able to put as much as a tooth mark on it! Such a great toy for a dog that loves to chew!!

It's very fun to watch her chase it, love the color (Orange), and she loves it when it bounces so she can jump up and catch it!

My Sophie is a Saluki - German Shepherd mix and is an avid chewer. No toy has lasted more than 15 minutes with her.

The Hurley was given to her by my dad from his trip to Canada a year ago. She has been UNABLE to destroy it. No matter what she does, no amount of chewing has managed to puncture the toy.

I am so amazed it has lasted this long with her and has sustained no doggie damage at all!

I have probably bought 5 or 6 of these chew toys for my Boston Terrier. They have lasted about 3 to 5 weeks before I have had to throw them away because my dog has managed to chew through the material, and eat the little pieces. This is the best product I can find. Every other toy lasts only hours or minutes. I just bought a rubber bone for $14 and he had one end chewed up in a few minutes. I think this toy would last a lot longer if the 'paw' print was left off and just the smooth material was there. This is the place where my dog always manages to pick it apart.

We have a year old lab (named Hurley coincidence has it). Last Christmas, friends of ours purchased this for him because of the name. It lasted nearly 5 months before he chewed it into two pieces. Quite a remarkable thing for him - an avid chewer! We love the bone and I will be looking at purchasing some of the other items that are listed similar to this one. Great toy West Paw Design!

Our 20-lb mixed-breed dog is gentle with all of his toys, so destructiveness wasn't an issue, but he's showed no interest in Kongs or any rubber toy. He's mildly interested in the flexible nylabones, but in general, until now, he's only enjoyed playing with soft stuffed toys.

He LOVES the hurley! He'll try to pounce on it when we throw it for him, but the erratic bounce means that he quite often overshoots and has to whirl around to search for it- very funny to watch. It's also very flexible, which I think he appreciates.

I'm shocked! When they said it was durable they weren' kidding. My dog is an agressive chewer and destroys almost every toy he is given within a weeks time. But not Hurley. He's had it for almost 3 months and loves it. He plays fetch and pull with it. We just bought him a bumi so we will see how that toy is with him. But we love the fact that he hasn't destroyed the toy and he loves playing with it all the time. So much so he hasn't chewed his nylabones! Way to go! Great product!!!!

I purchased this at a local dog boutique because it had the guarantee on it. And let's be honest- I'm totally fed up with paying $15 for a dog toy because they say it's really durable only to have it destroyed within 20 minutes. We have had this toy for around 3 months now and there isn't even a tooth mark on it!! I have two pitts and they play with it almost every day and you would never know it by looking at it. It also washes easily which is a plus. I HIGHLY suggest giving this toy a try. I'd give this more stars if I could.

This toy is one of the few that have lasted through two dogs chewing on it, one of which is a pit mix. And MADE IN THE USA. Refreshing!
