LOVE!!!!

By: Kellyjean517 - Kentucky Jun 11, 2013

My English Bulldog destroys ALL "indestructible" toys, however, the Tux is the best toy he has ever had. It lasts years!!!!! Thank you for such a wonderful, truly indestructible product, that is non-toxic and Sarge LOVES!!!!

Tux - too big for my Bichon

By: 8mm/06 - Michigan Jun 01, 2013

Seems like a great product for a large dog. Unfortunately I have a Bichon and must have misread the description of the size of the product. I have a friend with a large Shepherd and the tux will find a good home with her.

This puppy can't get enough

By: Anonymous - Emeryville, CA May 02, 2013

We have a new Siberian Husky puppy (8 weeks old) and he absolutely loves this toy. We put a treat in the middle and let him at it. It does take him a while to get it out, but that keeps him busy and out of his normal 'puppy' mode. He's teething, so the durability of this item is really appreciated. He chews on this toy constantly, even without hiding a treat inside. Very good buy for this puppy

My dogs love this!

By: Sharon Farrell - Marquette, MI Apr 29, 2013

My strong chewing, 110 pound Weimaraner, and my ridiculously aggressive chewing Golden Retriever both LOVE the Tux! Ollie, the Golden, loves to chase it as it bounces crazily around, then carry it around in his mouth for hours, stopping occasionally to gnaw on it. Zeke, out Weimaraner, loves to just hold it in his paws and chew away on it. Both dogs usually destroy their toys in a matter of days, (Ollie in a matter of minutes, sometimes), but all 3 of the products that we have bought from West Paws Designs have held up perfectly; it's been 3 months so far, and there is barely a tooth mark on any of them. We have the large Jive ball, the large Hurley bone, and the Tux, which we use as a training tool for Ollie, stuffing it with peanut butter when we leave the house. He loves it! It helps distract him from destructive chewing on other things in the house, like furniture, shoes, drywall, toilet paper....well, you get the picture!
I only wish I could purchase the products locally. I have asked out local pet supply store to look into carrying your products, and hope they are able to soon!

Tux

By: Julie Jones - Seattle Apr 27, 2013

The one bigger size is a bit big for my smaller size dog. He likes to eat out of it and can chew on the inner "bowl" that holds the food. He doesn't use it much for an actual chew toy. He is not an aggressive tear up my toy kinda dog, but he was able to chew a chunk out of the knobs that have the indentations for grip. He has other West Paw toys he likes better, especially his free plush squeky dog bone and bed mat.

great find

By: blue baker - Florida Apr 02, 2013

A friend of ours told us about the product and we purchased one for our Lab named Blue. Blue has managed to distroy almost all of the toys that we have bought him. So far he has not distroyed the Tux and seems to enjoy it.

Better than other toys...but not indestructible

By: Patty - New York Mar 17, 2013

I purchased the Tux from a local, privately owned pet store that specializes in high quality products. My dog was able to chew right through a Planet Dog Orbee ball within 2 hours. After returning the first, the store owner directed me towards purchasing the Tux. She stated that it is one of the strongest they carry. I had already done some research and found that the Tux is considered West Paw Designs most durable product. Unfortunately, it was still no match for my 8 month old Pit Bull. He is a power chewer and really works toys to his molars and goes to town. While I was QUITE impressed with how long it took him to put the first marks on it (about an hour) I was disappointed that after only 2 days of chewing he was able to pop the first knob off of it. I'll send it back and give the replacement toy to one of my other, less destructive chewing dogs. :-) Wished it had held up!

Definitely Indestructible

By: Jessica - Bangor, PA Mar 12, 2013

I bought a large Tux a few weeks ago for my year old Cane Corso Mastiff who has destroyed every toy I've already purchased for him....even ones that say that they are indestructible. The Tux has so far lived up to it's billing as a great chew toy. My dog has been going at it since it arrived and has yet to even put teeth marks in it. The design and material allow me to play a fun game of fetch with him with him not knowing which direction it's going to bounce. The compartment for treats helps keep him interested in playing with it on his own as well. Definitely a great purchase!

Tough stuff

By: Anonymous - melbourne fl Mar 03, 2013

Dogs love it. It is lasting.

2

Lasted my 11month old lab puppy 1hr an 7 minutes.

By: webzpinner - Utah Mar 01, 2013

My lab puppy is a major chewer. She can take a Kong apart in minutes. Took her an hour to take a sizable chunk out. Lasted longer than the Hurley, which she tore apart in 15 minutes.

I can't recommend this for any large dog with powerful jaws, because it will not last. Will find out soon how well the warranty works.

4

Good product. Dog loves it but still destroys it.

By: Travis Jacox - Middle Virginia Jan 29, 2013

I bought the black Hurley and the Green Tux. My Puggle loves them both. His teeth must be similar to a Great White Shark because he is still able to chew these toys up. I must admit that these have lasted longer than most. Majority of "tough" chew toys don't make it through an hour. It's been 30 days and 1/2 the Hurley is still here and 3/4 of the Tux remains. Good product.

3

Great toy, but my Pit managed to destroy it...

By: Anonymous - South Africa Jan 25, 2013

I bought a Tux for my Pit Bull about 5 months ago. She loves it and it is her favourite toy, she never gets bored with it. Unfortunately she has chewed through the sides after 5 months.

I know you have the refund/replacement policy, but unfortunately it will be too much of a hassle and cost to send the broken item back to you, as I am in South Africa...

It's great that you offer the replacement, but it's inconvenient to pay for the shipping and then waiting to receive the replacement.

I think that the Toy stores that stock these items, should take the broken items back and replace it, and then the store can send the goods back to you. Why should the consumer pay? Surely the store that stocks the goods should take care of the replacement policy and costs involved.

The dogs love it!

By: Anonymous - Waldorf, MD Jan 22, 2013

Our two Golden Retrievers walk around all day with their Tuxes. They love them, and are constantly playing "I want the one you have" and having a great time with them.

Zogoflex Tux

By: Anonymous - Willow Grove, PA Jan 19, 2013

Hands down the only toy I have ever given my dogs that has not been destroyed within 10mins! I have two pit mixes, a mastif/pit & a boxer/pit & they know how to chew! Deer antlers, kongs, you name it, they have gone thru it. Well worth the wait & the money on these toys! Thank you West Paw!

Somehow I was lucky enough to

By: kathybergam - everett wa. Jan 08, 2013

Somehow I was lucky enough to come across a West Paw dog toy at a discount store, unware of their quality at the time. Since then I've been searching for them in local pet stores. I have found them occasionally but didnt want to pay the price and kept buying the lesser quality, off brand ones and throwing them out because my lab mix destroyed them. Anyways, finally I got online a year ago and found them here at your site and just couldnt decide which to purchase first. Then this year for Christmas I decided to buy one each of the indestructable ones and viola! I now have one very, very happy dog and I am one very, very happy owner to not have to worry about my dog eating toys and getting sick. Thank you for making such wonderful dog toys.

tuxand my foster dog

By: Linda 1-4-2013 - eastern Pa Jan 04, 2013

This toy is a bit big for my med size foster dog. It's opening is not like a Kong for holding dry food. It does work well for holding larger treats and soft treats to spread inside. I froze can and dry dog food together inside she enjoy licking it out. She likes the nobs for chewing and carring the tux around.

Our dogs love TUX and it's indestructable

By: Connie Dyer - Iowa Dec 29, 2012

West Paw toys are WONDERFUL and the service is outstanding! These toys are part of a small handful that my dogs don't destroy! Thank you so much!

Kudos!

Amazing

By: Anonymous - Minneapolis, MN Dec 29, 2012

This is the only toy we have found for our dog that hasn't been destroyed within 10 minutes. He has had it for several weeks now and it isn't even dented. He likes it with a treat in it, but even better he likes it by itself as well. We will be getting him another WestPaw toy, but not because this one needs to be replaced.

What a great Christmas present!

By: Grammy - Maine Dec 26, 2012

I put the Tux down all wrapped for my grand pup (Emma) to open herself. She was so cute! She kept looking up at us to help her or like she wasn't sure what to do. We helped. As she saw part of the Tux (I stuck a treat in it), she jumped up as though she were startled. I got it on video....so adorable! After she ate the treat, she went nuts throwing the Tux for herself (she does the same thing with her other ball from WPD). She kept showing it to everyone in between playing with it. Of course, that led to me selling the wonderful WPD to my sister for her dog. I honestly don't remember how I heard about this place long ago. Perhaps I was searching for companies that made toys Emma could not destroy with her powerful mouth (part Pit and 85 lbs.) I love the fact that I can return the ball I bought a while ago for the newer version and of course, if she ever manages to bite through it. Except for a few little nibbles, she is not even close. This ball and her new Tux are a blast for her b/c they keep her occupied when everyone is too busy to play, they roll all kinds of funny ways, and when she rests in between playing; she uses them as a chew toy. I remember days when I would throw a less durable toy for her and then had to pry it out of her mouth when she wanted to chew it for a while. I love that she can do whatever she wants with her WPD toys! Great company, great products, great guarantees. :)

Most Durable Toy Out There

By: Anonymous - Alabama Dec 20, 2012

My pit absolutly destroys every toy she gets in 5 minutes. Even the "indestructable" ones. When I gave her the new Tux, she tried for over an hour to destroy it. She finally gave up (I beleive she was too tired to continue). I inspected the Tux to see what damage was done. To my suprise, there were no chunks missing, no tears, nothing. Not even a scratch. She has had the toy for over a week now. She still plays with it and it still looks like new. I couldn't be happier. I recommend this toy to everyone I know. Thanks for a great product.

Tux is TERRIFIC!

By: Candy Hoover - PA Dec 12, 2012

Our dog just love his Tux. Very pleased! It seems indestructible!

4

Good toy for hard chewers

By: deyonj - Hamilton, NJ Dec 11, 2012

After a year of limited use my hard chewing Choc. Lab, Pitt mix she has chewed threw the 3 parts. That being said, it was worth the money. Now they do guarantee the item, but I need the receipt... They do offer a recycle program also, but I would have to pay to ship back to the company. There are many things I LOVE about this company. Their toys do last longer than any others I have found. Their company is green and does offer a recycle plan for used up toys.

5

Our dogs love these

By: Kaye - United States Dec 03, 2012

We bought a Tux for our Airedale when she was a puppy and almost three years later there are practically no marks on it. We bought a second so that both of our dogs could have one. We freeze the toys now and put yogurt with treats or food inside and both of the items are holding up well. We highly recommend this product.

Tough Toy For Chocolate Lab

By: Ashleigh - Paris, TN Nov 28, 2012

My mother in law bought this for our Chocolate Lab. She loves it and plays with it all the time. She always seems to chew thru every dog toy we buy her but this one has lasted for a few months and it is as strong as the day we got it. There are no bite marks on it at all. I see this toy lasting for a long time.

Still in one piece after several days-better than most ohers

By: cassiok@earthlink.net - CT Nov 26, 2012

My first experience with these products. I have dogs that seem to go through all rubber type toys and bones with a vengance. They are enjoying the bouncing aspect of these toys and have not chewed them apart yet. This has been almmost 2 weeks and still in one piece. I have seen my dogs chewing and playing with them as their big thrill. My thrill is that they are still in one piece. Hurray.

Tux is Tough

By: suecroley - Hillsborough County, FL Nov 15, 2012

I'm a puppy raiser for Southeastern Guide Dogs, Inc. and have different pups in my home. They range from the gentle chewer to the very agressive chewer. The Tux has become the favorite toy for my current puppy who destroys everything else. Thanks for being so environmentally-friendly.

5

Meatball holder! And strong!

By: Anonymous - Oct 31, 2012

This is our dogs favorite toy! He gets a frozen meatball of Science Diet canned food after dinner! When we open the dishwasher door, we tell him to get his blue and he is quiet with it for 15 minutes or so! It is his favorite treat of the day!

indestructible is not fun

By: ben of mn - eden prairie, mn Oct 31, 2012

it's the dog's least favorite toy, but at least she can't destroy it.

Toughest toy we've ever had

By: Anonymous - Asheville NC Oct 28, 2012

My 4 yr old pit bull mix has destroyed every toy she's ever had--including the Huck ball from West Paw (we got a replacement but she ruined that one too). She's had the Tux for 9 months and it doesn't have a mark on it. She absolutely LOVES it and will happily chew it for hours. Ordering a couple more, as she will NOT share this toy with the other dogs.
