Flexible material makes this dog frisbee gentle on soft mouths and easy to pick up. In the world of frisbee-style dog toys, Zisc flies to the top.

Made with durable and buoyant Zogoflex material, Zisc is guaranteed against dog damage. If a dog manages to damage this or any of our Zogoflex dog toys, we offer a one-time free replacement or refund. Beyond Zogoflex’s guarantee, many people are true fans of this family of durable toys because dogs love them. This is our 2nd "ZISC"

By: JACK, a Border Collie - Bremen, GA May 15, 2012

This is our 2nd purchase. The first one was wonderful but after 2 years it was destroyed, so we returned it for a replacement. This is the 3rd one he has played with. Since Jack, is a border collie he LOVES his ZISC toy! Thank you for a great product.

Disk actually survived!!

By: Robin - Canada May 07, 2012

Really impressed by the durability and how well it flies! We have a boxer/shepherd/akita cross with giant teeth one broken (extra sharp) canine and she can destroy 'durable' toys in minutes. We call her The Mulcher. Normally we have to very carefully police her when we are playing because she'll chew up her toys, but after a number of times out the disk isn't showing any tooth marks. If given a choice between this disk and her other (cheaper) disk, she'll happily take this one. We'll definitely be buying more toys from this line!

The only mishap happened the first time out. She managed to drop it in a mud puddle then trample it in. It took us 2 different trips to dig it up. I guess is doesn't float in prairie mud very well :)

Love this toy......it took Jake a year to put a slit in his old one from carrying it like a folded pancake, but just got him a replacement. It's a great toy !

By: Anonymous - Mauston, Wi Apr 25, 2012

We have a one year old German Shepherd who loves toys and loves to chew. I have been buying all sorts of "durable" toys for him, but they last all of 1 hour if we're lucky! this toy has been holding up to him very well and he LOVES it!

Awesome Frisbee!

By: Nancy - Atlanta, GA Mar 29, 2012

I bought this frisbee for my 12 month old Chocolate Lab in the hopes of finding a product she would not eat! We have had it about 2 months and not only has she not eaten this, but she has not even put a dent in it!!! I am not over exagerating either! There is NOT one puncture or scratch in it and she carries it in her mouth all over the yard and house...

Lucy loves it! I must buy more in case we loose this one! What a tragedy!

Love your prducts! These are keepers!!! :-)

By: Mary Kay - maryland heights mo. Mar 26, 2012

My son and I have 1 year old Labs that are vigorus chewers, We got them together this weekend and let them have the disc they played tugged and pulled and it is still in tact. You have a great product. It is so good that I gave mine to my son and I will be ordering another one for myself.
Thank You, Mary Kay

Best frisbee ever!

By: Anonymous - Dyersville, IA Mar 11, 2012

The Zisc is the BEST frisbee ever!!! Our high energy Visla is very tough on toys but the Zisc can take the punishment!! She loves to play catch and retrieve (for hours if we had the time). The Zisc is the only frisbee that lasts! And it doesn't hurt her mouth. We have tried numerous others and have not found one as AWESOME as the Zisc! Hope you keep making this product!!

Is Zisc scented??

By: Kelan - Seattle, WA Mar 08, 2012

Our frenchie mix Bentley loves the mini zisc - so much so that we are wondering if it is scented? He is a complete freak for it and sniffs for it when it is on our kitchen counter. Either way, great toy! We spend hours and hours every week tossing it around for him.

4

Not great for a serious chewer

By: Anonymous - Utah Mar 06, 2012

It was great as a throw toy but he got tired of chasing it and within 2 hours has major chunks ripped off it. I think we need to stick to the bumi and the tux for our hyper chewer lol.....

4

dog loves them - but goes through about 1 every 4 months

By: Tammy - Maryland Mar 06, 2012

I have a very high energy boxer, we throw these off our deck for her to chase - about 50 times a day! She loves them, she does chew them a good deal and they tend to last about 4 months and then I have to throw it awasy because she starts getting peices off of it. But it has been the toughest toy yet compared to others, it definately last the longest.

Hurleys / Jive and Zisk

By: RicS - NJ Mar 05, 2012

We ordered 2 Hurleys, a Jive and a Zisk. The dogs love the Hurleys but the Jive was the big hit. They both love that thing. We'll probably have to order another one. They are extremely durable - these 2 go thru chew toys very fast - even the ones rated for tough chewers. They are all holding up very well - no chunks are coming off and actually they are hardley even making any indentations on the toys @ all. The Zisk we will probably be sending back just because neither dog is showing any interest in it. It is well made like the other toys described here but they just are not taking to it. That being said, we cannot be any happier with the quality of the 3 toys our Pitbulls like. I hope they keep holding up as well as they have so far. We will certainly be ordering more product from you guys in the near future.

Thx, Rick

Zisc is the best frisbee on the market

By: Anonymous - Minneapolis Feb 22, 2012

We have a very active Border Collie mix who loves to play fetch. We have tried several frisbees (Kong, and others) on the market and the Zisc is the best! It flies straight and long distances once you get the hang of how to throw it. After rigorous use (three times a day) for months on end, it finally got a small hole in the center. Once the hole was there, it didn't take long before it was unusable. HOWEVER, we got a replacement for free!!! I called the customer service number, spoke with a REAL person, and they sent us a free Zisc in the mail in about two weeks. All I had to do was send them the original one (which cost about $2 for shipping). The second Zisc is still going strong after 8 months. I would highly recommend this frisbee!

Great So Far

By: ssigmund - Michigan Feb 21, 2012

We have a 10 month old golden retriever who absolutely loves this Frisbee. I am satisfied so far with its durability to withstand his playfulness and chewing. This by far has turned out to be his favorite toy. Thanks for the great American made toy.

Not a chew toy, but great for fetch

By: - Wyoming Feb 19, 2012

My pit bull is a year and a half old. That should say it all... tough, active, a bit destructive when it comes to toys and rawhide treats. =) He LOVES this thing! I will put it in the closet for a while and he digs it out when he realizes it's there. He will even play with it by himself, until I take it away. It isn't made to be a chew toy, it's made be retrieved. He's had it for about 3 months and with supervised use, it has truly stood up to the test. There are only a couple small holes in it, so I'll have to replace it soon. I DID NOT EXPECT a frisbee toy to last this long. Great job and thank you!

3

Zisc...good toy, but not indestructible

By: SnJ - Boise Idaho Feb 08, 2012

Zisc flies well and is very pliable, which is great for catching, but the toy is not as indestructible as advertised. Our 23lb golden doodle chewed holes in it within a matter of minutes. We also purchased the Hurley bone toy, however, and that makes an excellent chew toy. She has been working on that one for over a month and it doesn't have a mark on it. So, we get the Zisc out only for play time to avoid her destroying it. Good value and will last longer than the nylon "frisbee" we had previously.

Zisc toy is favorite

By: Anonymous - Suisun City, California Jan 20, 2012

My Doberman is hard on toys. The Zisc has outlasted all of the others! It's also her favorite and she takes it with her on her runs around the backyard. This time I bought two so she won't be without if she misplaces one in the shrubs!

West Paws Design Flying Disc

By: Lobo the GSD - Kamloops, BC, Canada Jan 15, 2012

I bought this toy for my large German Shepherd several years ago. He had, up until then, destroyed EVERY frisbee, toy, etc.
He has not been able to even put a scratch on it despite years of trying, and, he has tried. We even play tug of war with it. Also, it remained soft even in our harsh Canadian winters. And it floats! A huge bonus.
Best dog toy I have ever seen.

AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!

By: Anonymous - TN Jan 03, 2012

We have had one zisc for about a year for our boxer who is a major chewer. Cannot tell it has been chewed on. We have since gotten a second boxer puppy and have ordered a second zisc for the puppy. We also ordered the Hurley's with the second zisc and are thoroughly pleased with both products. Highly recommend!!!!!!!!!!!!

LOVE IT!

By: Scott K. - Appleton, WI Dec 28, 2011

After great success with the Hurley, I decided to expand our dog's West Paw toy collection with two Zisc's. Wisconsin winters are hell on dog toys, but I've found that the Zygoflex is absolutely amazing in cold weather, and these are no exception!

Durable, they resist the cold without becoming brittle or crumbling, they fly and are easy to throw thanks to the deeper (rather than thicker) rim, and Isis loves them as much as her other West Paw toys. The moment I lay a hand on one, she's right at my feet, ears up, eagerly (and often impatiently :) ) waiting for me to throw it.

I highly recommend West Paw toys to anyone and everyone I meet...and the Zisc's are worth EVERY PENNY!

3

Zisc is not industructable

By: Anonymous - illinois Dec 20, 2011

My German Shepherd loves to play frisbee everyday. The zisc is great that it is soft but my dog's teeth destroy it within a month.

Zisc frisbee

By: Anonymous - Media PA Dec 14, 2011

We've had this Zisc frisbee for a few weeks and our 16 month chocalate lab that has destroyed many a toy, furniture etc has not put a mark on the Zisc. As recommended on another review we use for exercise only. We fly and he chases it 15-20 times until we burn off some his energy. We rinse off the dirt from the yard and were good to go the next time. We also have the huck but haven't had the need t use it yet.

4

Better than Kong but with a minor design flaw

By: Anonymous - Arlington, VA Nov 01, 2011

I have a pit-ridgeback mix who regularly made short work of the Kong frisbees (so much so, that I'd buy 3 at a time). I gave the Zisc a try and it felt more durable and lasted much longer than the Kong discs did. I think it would've lasted even longer were it not for the raised logo on top which constantly provided a place for his teeth to catch--it's along the logo were the first tears/holes appeared. Once they were there, they just grew. This is the best I've tried so far, but will probably keep looking.

5

Excellent frisbee

By: Mark71 - Marshfield, WI Oct 22, 2011

Great frisbee. Works great in the house too for throwing down the hallway and doesn't mark up the walls like a competitors rubber frisbee. Very durable, lasted a couple years before those long canines ripped a hole in it. Still works great though.

5

my beast loves it

By: - effingham il Sep 17, 2011

My 2 year old lab has no toys because he eats or destroys them. I bought him a zisc and he loves it. He carries it around all the time. I will never be without one.

frisbee

By: forjake - rome,ny Aug 20, 2011

I have to tell you that my little dog absolutely LOVES his frisbee !! And I love it because it's soft enough material to be kind to his mouth and flexible enough for him to "fold", yet sturdy enough to fly through the air when thrown. I think it's a terrific dog toy. :)

Cody's (and mine) favorite Friz !

By: - Lake George NY Jul 30, 2011

I bought it from Recycled Retriever an awesome dog boutique in Provincetown MA while on vacation. I brought it home to Lake George NY to my golden retriever Cody. He is a frisbee fanatic and also a water dog... We have had it over a year and play with it on a daily basis both at the park and in the lake, as well as with other dogs - pitbulls, goldens, labs... It does not have one tare and is in excellent condition. I am happy to have found them online in order to have more than one to keep at different places and in different cars (=
