The large size dog ball is 3.25 inches wide, just a little smaller than the average softball. The small ball is 2.6 inches wide, similar to the size of a standard tennis ball, but won't get your hands as slimy. Jive also comes in a new mini size for small dog breeds that is only 2" wide, approximately the size of a golf ball.

holiday jive
I have three different sized dogs..but was afraid if i bought the mini jive for the smallest dog, that the other two bigger dogs would swallow it. So i bought two small, one large. my dogs love them and with the bright color it's easier to find. And they haven't destroyed them like other toys i've bought for them!! Please keep making the tuff, chewable, tugable toys.I plan on being a forever customer. They also have the TUX toys but play with them occassionaly, mainly they chew on it. Love the vivid colors, esp. when playing outdoors.
Best Ever
My one year old chocolate lab, Indy, has destroyed even black Kongs. I purchased a Jive, a Hurley, and a Tux for him. Have had them pretty much all summer and they're still in great shape. He loves them! Sometimes he'll carry two of them around in his mouth at the same time. Plus they float! He jumps in the pool all day long after these things...a great way to wear his butt out! It was hard to find something that was this durable and floated as well. Not to mention the soft material is easy on the wood trim in the house. Just what i was looking for.

Purchased this for a gift for our friends' Labrador pup that I dog-sit. She loved it...but I'll have to get her the smaller one. The large size was too big for her soft-mouth. Overall though, she couldn't get into the box fast enough when the mail-person delivered it. I think she knew that it was for her. Keep up the great designs WP!
very durable
If you have a dog that likes to chew this is fantastic. My guy is not big into chewing a toy but he likes to nibbel them and this one is staying intact. Normally I have little bits of toys all around the house but not with this PLUS it bounces alot which by far is his favorite part.
