I have two retrievers who like to go outside, eat anything that looks interesting and then come in a "redeposit" it in their beds. I was looking for a couple of beds that they felt were comfortable, and I could wash as needed. As soon as I took the first of their two beds out of the box my golden plopped down and said "This one is mine and I LOVE IT!"...then the second one came out of the box and our flat coat said, "hey she got one for me, too and it's great!". They both still have their old beds lying around, but choose to not use the old ones at all. Best of all, the first night we got the new beds, our flat coat urped in it so I had to wash it. After a warm wash and cool dry, it came out of the dryer looking and feeling brand new! A win-win for everyone involved!!!
