We have a ridgeback mix and a lab mix that are both very powerful chewers. We tried everything we could find at our local store until we realized that the West Paw Hurley we'd had for five years or so hadn't suffered even a scratch. We bought 3 more recently on-line and they LOVE them. They're great tug-o-war toys and neither of them can seem to tear a piece off after months of "work". We realize that these may not be for every dog but even our ridgeback can get big chunks off the hardest Nylabone. These are softer to chew but seem indestructable.
