Our 9 month old yellow lab loved this toy... so much that he's been through two. The first one lasted about 2 weeks, the second about 10 minutes. He destroys everything (and I mean EVERYTHING) we give him, so this really wasn't too much of a surprise. For the time that it did last, he really enjoyed playing with and the extra "bounce" and movement it has. For a less destructive dog, I would definitely recommend it.
