This bed is very high quality. I bought the XL for my now-70 pound lab retriever when she was a pup. I have washed the cover about ten times and it has held up very nicely. However, the inner stuffing is now flat as a pancake. I have never washed the inner stuffing and my dog is very gentle on it. I have tried hand fluffing it but it doesn't decompress. I'll have to buy a new insert or a new bed soon. :/
