starstarstarstarstar Dogue de Bordeaux/ Boxer

By: Candice - Michigan November 4, 2008
This is the best toy ever made. I bought this toy when my 6 month old Dogue de Bordeaux/Boxer mix destroyed every other toy I had ever bought. He is now 2 years old & still has this ball!! He plays with it all the time. Remy even uses it for a chew & it still hasn't been destroyed. Again this is the best toy ever.

starstarstarstarstar Three Large Dogs

By: Julie - Colorado September 22, 2008
All three dogs love chomping and chasing our Huck. It has stood up to all of their antics with only a little scratch or two. I went back to our local store and purchased another two so the girls don't have to share. Yesterday was a ball-throwing-fest and so much fun!

starstarstarstarempty-star 13 month old Lab

By: Sue Herrmann - Kenosha WI September 4, 2008
I have enjoyed watching my lab, now 13 months with several of the toys. At about 6 months he chewed through the zisc in about an hour, which I sent back for the refund. He has enjoyed the Hurley as has his dad, who put the first bite into it. We have now gone the last month has a favorite fetch and chew toy, but alas it may be retired has one end is gone. As they are non toxic and made in the USA, I am online to purchase a new one.

starstarempty-starempty-starempty-star Lasted 10 minutes

By: Kimberly Pinckney - Houston, TX September 3, 2008
We just bought the Huck for our 11 month old dachshund. The store owner raved about the product and we thought we'd finally found something that would last a few days. Alas, I had to take it back up after about 10 minutes because of the amount my dog had already managed to chew off and eat. We have had much better luck with the Hurley. One whole day and counting! I'm hoping they will replace our damaged Huck with another, less destructible design.

starstarstarempty-starempty-star Check one off for the Dogue de Bordeaux!

By: Pepe Rodriguez-Moreno - Farmington, Minnesota August 26, 2008
Well I was hoping for the best from the huck and found that it fell short. I bought the hurley and huck for my French Mastiff(1yr) and I guess the huck took the brunt of the abuse and went down for the count after 30 minutes. My dog started to break off chunks from the lip of the ball. Maybe if it gave the dog less of a grip it would last longer. The hurley on the other hand has lasted and even after the valiant efforts of my Pumpkin. I recommend this one highly.

starstarstarstarempty-star Huck Doesn't Hold Up to the Cane Corso!

By: Tallula White - Tuscaloosa, AL August 26, 2008
My husband and I ordered both the huck and the hurley for our Cane Corso(8 months). I'm happy to say that the hurley is still intact after one week! The huck however only lasted about one hour. He began to chew off the ridge of the ball....and there it went. I really wouldn't recommend it for mastiff breeds. We were really hoping it would be indestructible.

starstarstarstarstar Winner at my house :)

By: Elease - Montana August 14, 2008
This was a hit at my house! My Aussie/German shephard mix, Annie, pranced around the house with it showing it off before she settled down and really went to work chewing on it, and it survived! She also got a kick out of the fact that it bounces in all directions, by the end of the night she figured out that she could basically play fetch by herself by just dropping it. :)

starstarstarstarstar Love it

By: Kristi - Arroyo Grande, CA July 17, 2008
We have nicknamed our dog "destructo" due to his ability and resolve to tear apart any toy in under 5 minutes. This one has lasted us months so far with absolutely no wear. We feel obligated to throw this ball nearly all day long as it is his absolute favorite for the way it bounces in unexpected directions. The amount of play on concrete has actually worn my dog's nails down (thank goodness) and his muscle tone is now awesome. Thanks for such an amazing product.

starstarstarstarstar The Survivor

By: Gitai - Seattle July 8, 2008
This is the one and only toy that Bran, my corgi, has not utterly and totally destroyed within a month of getting it. In fact, it's still completely intact, and he loves playing with it.

starstarempty-starempty-starempty-star Did not survive an 8 month old GSD

By: Shirley Dennis - Indianapolis IN June 28, 2008
We were so excited to have found a dog toy made in the USA! But in 5 minutes our German Shepherd pup had taken out a small chunk of the large huck. It was not on the edge of the raised portion but on the smooth part of the huck.
We will get the guarantee replacement and then I will give another review. I hope it is a good one. We won't let her chew on it if it breaks off. Even though she is with us when she would chew on it I don't want to take any chance of her choking or having it block her GI system.

starstarstarstarstar Finally followed it.

By: Emily - Germany May 20, 2008
I have a 6 month old Rhodesian Ridgeback and she loves this ball-now. At first she was a bit scared and waited till it stopped bouncing to get it. But now there is no stopping her, in fact she will catch it and fling it up again to make it bounce even more. The Huck was the first ball she would bring back to be thrown again proving just how much she loves it. The bright colors are easy for her to find on various surfaces: concrete, dirt, grass, etc. I have not noticed any puncture marks but she is a chewer and loves to chew on the Huck when she is done running around.

starstarstarstarstar Had them for years and still in brand new shape!

By: Doreen - The Woodlands, TX May 8, 2008
I bought 2 of these balls a few years ago, and they still look brand new! I have a few aggressive chewers (3 Aussies and a Lab), and they like to chew and chew on these, as well as chase them when they bounce this way and that! It's been fun watching them run all over the place trying to catch it after the bounce. This toy is ranked up there with the Kong toys I have - which also do not have any tears in them yet, (but they do have puncture holes from their teeth).

starstarstarstarempty-star Only lasted 2 weeks

By: Kathy - Ventura, CA April 26, 2008
Lasted less than 2 weeks with my 3 year old 90 pound yellow lab. The only other toy that would last about 3 months were the Kongs. Since he loved this ball more than the Kongs I will give it another try. Maybe it was defective.

starstarstarstarstar Great gift choice

By: Lynda - Minnesota April 4, 2008
I bought a number of different supposedly "tough" balls to send to freind who has a ball crazy retriever. Of the various balls in the group the huck has obviously become the favorite. My friend posts frequent photos on a photo sharing web page of her dogs on walks and swims - and the huck is always along. I don't think her dog is a super agressive chewer, but she had previously been going through tennis balls frequently - no more. After several months she is still carrying the same huck.

starstarstarempty-starempty-star Not Boston Proof

By: Judy - Vineland, Ontario March 22, 2008
We purchased the Hurley and Huck after reading about the toys in the magazine "Dog's in Canada". Reading the reviews of your product we thought that we had finally found something that our Boston terrier wouldn't demolish in under a week. The toys were given to our pup at Christmas time, the Huck fared better than the Hurley, after 2 weeks we noticed bits missing. He is still playing with the toys but we have to really monitor him in case he manages to rip a big chunk off the Hurley. The Huck has a few pieces out of it.
Our dog is an extremely aggressive chewer. Because the toys have ridges in them, he is able to get his inciser teeth into the grooves and chew away. If the ball or bone were smoother it might make a difference.
I feel this product is excellent for a low to moderate chewer or a dog that just likes to play with his toys.
Excellent to see that the products are made in the U.S.A. hard to find anything now a days that isn't made "Off Shore".

starempty-starempty-starempty-starempty-star Huck doesn't beat the Hurley

By: Anonymous - Ontario, Canada February 27, 2008
Our Jack Russell Terrier, Parker, was able to break the Huck. We've had great times with the Hurley though..she loves it!

starstarstarstarstar The best toy I've found

By: Vivian Resendez - California January 30, 2008
I have spent so much money on various toys and balls. My male Australian Cattle Dog managed to destroy everything I gave him, and what he wasn't interested in destroying, my female ACD would take on. I have spent literally hundreds of dollars on toys that last an hour, if I was lucky. This has been such a life-saver. He can carry it around with him, hold it in his mouth and chomp it, and use it for a game of fetch. He's also learned to flip it out of his mouth with a spin so it bounces for him on the hard floors and he can entertain himself. The only reason I've had to replace the ball is because the dogs lose them. I know I always have a sturdy, safe toy for him to play with. Thank you so much for your wonderful product!!

starstarstarstarempty-star Love It!

By: Caitlin - Missouri January 29, 2008
I love this ball! My JRT can chew up anything! Behlee loves the ball too, he wants to play with it and chew on it all day. Although Behlee was able to get a few pieces off of it, I still think it is great. We had to trash the old one and buy a new one. It took him weeks before he ever got anything off of the first one, so in my book, that is one awesome toy!

starstarstarstarstar Mrs.

By: Edie - Wilsall January 24, 2008
Our Bouvier, Bart, loves his Hucks... Though he destroys everything else he isn't able to make a dent in them! Our only challenge is losing them in the snow, under the deck, etc.... so we have a large collection! Thanks!!

starstarstarempty-starempty-star My Dog Was Able To Bite Part Of This One

By: plbick - Joliet IL usa December 29, 2007
My American Staffordshire Terrier was able to bite part of the ball, however the bone shape toy has survived.

starstarstarstarstar Best Chew Toy

By: Anonymous - South December 9, 2007
My American Staffordshire Terrier puppy has not been able to destroy this yet. She has already destroyed the black and red chew toys (made by your competitors).

starstarempty-starempty-starempty-star The Huck

By: twb - Jackson, MI November 30, 2007
My standard poodle has had the Huck (large size) less than 30 minutes and he has already chewed chunks off the raised portions of the ball. While I don't question the quality of the product, it isn't indestructible (not that the ad promised that), which I was hoping for. My soft-coated wheaten terrier is doing better with the Hurley (large size). She's still chewing on it and hasn't done any damage yet. Of course, she's 30 pounds lighter than the standard poodle. If anyone has a suggestion of a good product that isn't rock-hard rubber, please email me at huttly@comcast.net.

starstarstarstarstar huck

By: rielly - bismarck September 25, 2007
What great dog toys. Indestructible yet provides a great chew work out for a pup who loves to eat whatever he can get hold of. Best of all, made in Montana! Thanks

starstarempty-starempty-starempty-star Ms.

By: Karen Simmons September 12, 2007
I wrote a review earlier thinking this was a toy that my 10-month-old Bullmastiff couldn't destroy. I guess I should have waited because it only took him 3 days to start breaking off pieces of the large Huck toy. So I'll be using the 100% guarantee after all. I even ordered the Hurley so he'd have two toys that would last. I don't hold out much hope for the Hurley now that the Huck has been, literally, chewed to pieces.

starstarstarstarstar Puppy Proof

By: Mel and Sandy Ribordy September 10, 2007
This is the first ball that our 8 month old Sheltie puppy has not destroyed. She is going through the chewing stage and has not made a dent in "her" new ball. She is able to occupy herself chasing and bouncing the huck. What a wonderful toy and made in the USA. Thank You all.

starstarstarstarstar Finally, A Toy That's Lasted for More Than 10 Minutes!

By: Karen Simmons September 10, 2007
I have a 10-month old Bullmastiff who has systematically been destroying every toy in the house. He'll get a new toy and just work it and work it until it's ripped open or pieces are falling off. I'm happy to say that the Huck toy is still intact despite his best efforts to chew it to pieces! And believe me, he's been trying! This is a great toy. I'm going to have to buy the Hurley too!

starstarstarstarstar Huck

By: Mel and Sandy Ribordy September 10, 2007
We have an 8 month old Sheltie, who is very active and into chewing and destroying her toys. The Huck is the best toy we have ever purchased and best of all, made in the USA. She loves the ball and so do we. Keep up the great work.

starstarstarstarstar Patterdale Terrier proof too!

By: Anonymous July 13, 2007
My dog can also tear a tennis ball or any other "tough" ball to shreds in minutes. These really are indestructible.

starstarstarstarstar Finally...a truly durable toy for large dogs!

By: Anonymous January 23, 2007
Our Airdale loves new toys. The heart breaker for both of us is when I have to take it away from her just moments (literally) later because she's punctured it or ripped a piece off. I began to be very suspicious of the words "durable or tough". I read some comments on another website that made me search out Huck balls when we were next at a larger pet store. Callie was thrilled to get a new toy and we are thrilled that two months later it is still fully intact and a well loved toy. Thanks for a great product!

starstarstarstarstar Best Ball Ever Made

By: Anonymous January 10, 2007
I have three American Pitbulls that love to chew. They normally destroy chew toy products within an hour including the red dog toy that says that it is industructible. Well I am happy to say that I purchased three of these toys even though I was skeptical because a friend told me how great they were. I saved the tag because I thought that warranty was going to be used but thank goodness I just found a great product instead. It has been over a year and I am happy to say that I still have all three items and my dogs chew on them everyday. They are the favorite toy of all three dogs and like to play steal the ball with on another. Thank you for making such a wonderful product you should be proud of this high quality item.

starstarstarstarstar Jack Russell Proof!

By: Anonymous December 10, 2006
I can't begin to tell you how many dog toys we have gone through. It takes our JRT a matter of minutes to kill some of them, then we found the Huck! This ball was a gift from God! I tell you, Sam loves it and it is still in one piece so I love it too! THANK you for making such a great toy!

starstarstarstarstar Zogoflex - the greatest dogtoy material!!!

By: Olga Pechony August 10, 2006
I have two toys made from Zogoflex - the Huck and the Hurley. My black lab chews them for about a year now and they are still as good as new!
These toys are light-weight, colorful and truly indestructible.
I have a Zisc now on my list.
A very special thanks to people who developed this material!

starstarstarstarstar Greatest Ball Ever

By: Matthew Waite July 27, 2006
This ball offers a one time replacement guarantee and I can't imagine ever having to actually use that warranty. It's been six months and my 90 pound retriever has hardly scratched the thing. Plus it floats. Greatest dog toy we've ever owned

starstarstarstarstar Survives 5 collies

By: Carolyn Savage July 20, 2006
This ball has been chewed, thrown, dropped, buried and is still one of my 5 collies favourite toys. Cannot recommend it highly enough. Have now bought some more, so they don't all fight over the one!

starstarstarstarstar My dog did not destroy the ball

By: Tammi Numata May 6, 2006
This is great ball since my black lab normally destroys any toy that I give him within a couple of minutes to a couple of hours, but I am pleased to say that it has been over three weeks and he has not be bale to destry it and he simply loves it.
