Catnip Caster Gets Even Lazy Kitties Off The Couch!

I brought the Catnip Caster home from a trip to Vermont about a month ago as a "make up" gift to my cats for being away. The second I removed it from the bag, my biggest, most lazy cat lifted his head from the couch, then came running. The ability to cast the "wiggly worm", coupled with its bell & catnip, has kept that cat moving and playing ever since the toy first came out of the bag. He loves that toy so much that I actually have to hide it at night because if he finds it, he drags it all over the house causing the pole to "bump, bump, bump" across the wood floors, and then meows for me to come play with him. Thank you, West Paw Design, for finally making a toy where the cats are jumping and playing while we owners (also known as their human servants) look on from our "casting" position on the couch, as opposed to the other way around!!
I got a catnip caster cat toy last fall for my purebred Ocicat Rah Rah. I like the fact I can sit in my den chair and toss the wiggly worm out a few feet and then watch as Rah Rah pounces on it while I pull it back.
I did have a problem with the casting line getting tangled up and wrapped around the pole and had to several times take off the wiggly worm, then restring the casting line. I'm still not sure exactly how this happens but other than that, this is a pretty fun interactive cat toy.
I'm a huge fan of West Paw Design products. I highly recommend them to anyone who wants a safe pet product that is made in America for their cat or dog.
