Great dog toys for dogs who are hard on toys

Posted July 05, 2012

Dogs come in many shapes and sizes, with varying levels of powerful chompers.  Some dogs can be very tough on toys... even when they are just playing fetch.  Echo is one of those dogs with the strong toy-killing jaws.  Luckily for Echo, Zogoflex dog toys are super tough, float - with multiple dog toy designs for both playing and chewing.

Echo is a 3 year old German Shepherd.  His favorite dog toy is the play dog toy called Būmi.  The Būmi dog toy holds up to Echo's chompers during their games of fetch.  In addition to being durable, the Bumi dog toy has a unique shape that dogs love to shake and tug.  (Note: For Chew time, West Paw Design recommends the Tux, Hurley or Jive toys.)

“Echo is hard on his toys. He can kill a Kong in 15 minutes. He can't kill your toys! We have a stream with a deep pond in our backyard. If he loses a toy in the pond it's gone forever. Yours float! This morning he got his new Bumi. He has been playing with it nonstop for 3 hours. My arm is worn out but he's still going strong. I wish I could send you a video of him playing with it. Once he catches it he shakes it, growls at it, and then brings it back for me to throw again. He loves his Bumi. Thank you from both of us for making such great toys!”
