Don’t let the soft felt ears, perfect pink nose, and tiny rat eyes fool you; Rat-a-Cat-Cat is one tough toy. Cats will love to bat, smother, and pounce this larger than life rat friend; and at the end of the day, curl up close to its catnip filled torso. Jingle ball inside.

Crave-worthy catnip.

I have two grand-dogs and two Grand-cats. Every year the cats ask for the Rat A Cat Cat toy. They love to flip, pounce on, chew and play with them in their gated play area. The dogs love them as well, hence the play area. Wonderful toys made in USA so I never worry about them being harmed in any way.
Your dog beds are amazing as well. When I visit there is always dog or cat in one. Keep up your excellent work. I'll be ordering again.

Great toy!

What a great toy! I bought this big rat for my big guy cat (22+ lbs!) but my smaller, half his size, girl cat loves it too! The rat gets licked, kicked, dragged, & tossed. I'm surprised the tail is still intact as my big guy likes to chew those off, lol!

Rat A Cat Cat

December 18, 2013

I had bought these 'rats' many years ago when I lived in Montana, and had seen them in a 'Made in Montana' gift shop. Since I like owning big tom cats, tom cats need sturdy large toys which they can reasonably 'beat up' and kick with their back legs. As any cat fan knows, cats grip with their front claws and 'gouge' with their back claws, simulating a vicious fighting method.
With the 'Rat a Cat Cat' toy, my 14 pound Russian Blue Tom Cat can truly get a full scale work-out which allows him to completely throttle the rat, simulating a more formative attack that satisfies his predatory instincts and physical needs. He's been beating up his rat with fierce intent on a daily basis, and it's still intact! Kudos to a fine product made by awesome Montanan's! BRAVO! Lasted 10 seconds!

September 16, 2013

I have to give it one star. I have 3 cats and 2 weren't interested but the two year old was, not in a good way. She immediately pounced on it and started pulling out the hair and eating it. It lasted all of 10 seconds once I saw what she was doing to it; in the trash it went. I thought about putting it in the donation pile since it was brand new but was concerned that some other cat would try the same thing.

I ordered three Rat-A-Cat-Cats for Christmas gifts for my kitty girl and my nephew boys. They all loved them the minute they got them.
I'm sad to report that my nephew, Stryper, pulled the tail off after less than 24 hours. :(
I buy West Paw year after year, largely due to the fact that the toys are made in USA. :)

Feather Cat

December 02, 2012

Very cute and a nice large sized cat toy. Our cat prefers feather toys over her fuzzy ones, but the dog loves it! Received it as a gift. Would suggest for cats who like to wrestle and kick their toys!

Feedback on rat a cat cat

August 05, 2012

We have had many cat toys over the years for our 15 year old cat and he has destoyed most of them in short order. He loves rat a cat cat and plays with it every day. When we purchased it we were skeptical about the high cost, but the first on lasted over 6 months and the second one is holding up just as well. Overall it is a much better investment than any other cat toy we've had.

Rat too big for smaller cats?

April 16, 2008

Hi West Paw!
My purebred Ocicat Rah Rah is built smaller than most cats. She'll bat around this catnip cat toy for a little while but since she can't toss it far, I think it might be too big for her. I'd recommend making it about a 1/3 smaller. I'm sure big tom cats would like this toy however. Maybe offer it in 2 sizes?

However, the quality is fantastic and I'm glad it's made in America. I like that the fur on this cat toy is real and the leather tail is tough. I like the knot in the end because I can hold it while she bats at it.

Maybe the real problem here is she has too many cat toys!

Thanks for the great pet products made in the USA!
