Our dogs love them

Both our dogs love to curl up in their beds. It's very easy to wash. I would recommend these beds.

I bought this bed 6 years ago and my lab still loves it. He was somewhat picky, and didn't like the first dog bed I got him. He seemed to prefer to get on the couch where could lay his head on the throw pillow. This bed was a success. He likes to lay his head on the bolster, and likes to bunch up the inner pillow before laying down with his toy. I like that I can easily wash it. Other dogs that come over like it as well. The price was steep, but it was worth it. It has held up well and still looks good, not too much fading. I'm glad I bought it, and highly recommend it.
I went with Westpaw because I
February 04, 2011
I went with Westpaw because I am in Bozeman and wanted to support a local company. Unfortunately I spent $175 on the XL Bumper bed and my dog is just as happy sleeping on the floor. The inner pillow is lumpy and doesn't stay tucked into the surrounding bumper. I'm constantly tucking it back in. Sad to say had I known I would have gone with another product.
Puppy knows how to work the zipper
January 07, 2011
My puppy is just 6months old and had earned the right to spend the work day in the kitchen and out of his crate. Things went well on day one. No problems, on Day two the bed which we have had since he joined our family at 10 weeks was unzipped and the bumper portion filler was completely removed from the bottom. Also the pillow was unzipped but I guess he could not figure out how to get the inside out. Day three was more of the same. Day four we did a little extra work to try and keep the bumper zipped up but came home to find the zipper pull for the pillow laying on the floor. I'm just happy he did not swallow it. As far as a product goes We love it and the dog loves it. We often move it around the house so he sleeps or at least lays down and chews toys in the same room we are in. I guess I would like to see the next revision have better zipper protectors or a zipper sleeve that the metal piece can be tucked in to. Now I need to figure out how to order a new pillow so the bed can go back to being fully operational.
Both dogs love them!

We got these beds for our dogs - a lab and a corgi mix - last year after finally retiring our old beds after learning that the cedar fill is actually an allergen for some dogs. I love that these are eco-friendly and non-allergenic for my pooches. Both dogs love them and sleep in them every night (instead of in our bed!). They love the bumper part, and curl up in many different ways. After a year of serious use, the beds still look fantastic and are not lumpy like the cheap bed I'd bought previously as a trial. Will buy all our dog beds from West Paw from now on -- well worth the price!
Poor Pillow Construction
September 30, 2010
We bought a large bed for our lab (55lbs.) She has plenty of room and loves resting her head on the "bumper and snuggling in. The insert however after 1 year has become lumpy and uncomfortable looking. Luckily we put old down couch cushions into the coverlette. For the price the quality was severely lacking. Also the zipper popped off the middle cushion - luckily the covers aren't too expensive.
Beagles' best friend
February 22, 2010
We bought this bed almost a year ago, and could not be more pleased. The only problem is that our two beagles are constantly fighting over who gets to lay in it. We bought a medium so that they would both fit, and they do, but that doesn't stop the bickering. Extremely durable, washes easily and very comfortable. Five stars.

Our dog, who would rather be on our bed than anywhere else, loves this dog bed. It is nice and padded so she can sleep in any number of ridiculous positions and she seems to like that the bolsters prop her up. I've washed the cover a number of times and while the color has faded a little (the striped fabric) it shows no real signs of wear. It is nice that I can wash just the center cushion separately. Definitely worth the price to have a high quality product that wears well. I can't say my dog cares so much about it being eco-friendly, but I do. If I am going to buy things for my dog, I at least want them to reflect the same considerations that weigh in when making purchases for myself.

we bought our lab the westpaw bed less than a year ago. While the covers look great the actual insert material is lumpy and uncomfortable looking. This is very surprising to us because WestPaw claims to have cushions that will not bunch after use. Our dog has three of these XL beds and they no longer look comfortable at all. I would recommend other brands over
this poorly made bed.

I can't get my pug out of this bed. We purchased it for her over a year ago, and it's held up beautifully to multiple washings and heavy use. My only complaint is that the inserts do not wash well, but those only need to be laundered if there's an "accident". If you're concerned about the initial investment, understand that this bed was built to last, looks great (I love the new color options), and will be LOVED by your dog.
