Really Nice Quality and Looks Good Too!

My small dog loves this bed. I bought a size medium for her 9 lb frame. It is perfect for her because she has some room to move around a bit. She is a small dog with a big dog personality: very active and this bed can take it: clawing, jumping, etc. At first I thought it might be too fluffy: like an overstuffed pillow. When Polly first used it she would try to lie in the middle with her bone and she would slide off the side. It has compressed a little and now is PERFECT. Aside from the small West Paw decal on the lower left, the linen color bed is completely neutral looking. Looks almost exactly like the throw pillows on my sofa. I appreciate a dog bed that doesn't have a tacky pattern. The bed cover washes great: I haven't washed the insert yet but will if it gets especially gross. Overall really nice quality and looks great.
Thinner than we expected, but our dog likes it

This bed is not super fluffy and cushy - I'm sure I could get a thicker bed at Petco. I am not actually sure what the added value is that I'm paying for with this West Paw product - is it that it won't compress any further? Or that it's fully washable and won't get lumpy after washing? Or just the brand name? Normally I'm very impressed with West Paw products (our dog LOVES the Bumi and Hurley, and they're super durable, even for our super chewer), but this bed is underwhelming. It's big enough and very pretty, and pretty average otherwise. We were all set to return it and get a cheaper, fluffier bed elsewhere, but our dog seems to like it well enough so we are keeping it. (After all, he's the one who sleeps on it, so it's only fair that he gets the final say...)
