West Paw’s most durable dog ball yet. Jive® is the only ball dogs need—bright, bouncy, and buoyant. Combat slobber by flinging it with a standard ball-thrower, then toss it in the dishwasher. Just don’t toss it out—it’s recyclable.

Like all of our Zogoflex® dog toys, Jive® is Made in the USA, Certified Safe and Guaranteed to Last.

We dare dogs to destroy Zogoflex. (And if they do, we replace it—free.)

Zogoflex® packs a long lifespan. If for any reason it doesn’t, we offer a free one-time replacement.

Jive Ball

February 02, 2016

Had ordered 2 of the bone style and they tore those up. Zogoflex replaced them with a tux toy and a jive ball. They are the best toys. I have a pit/heeler mix and a pit/great dane mix and after hundreds of dollars worth of toys I have finally gotten something they can't tear up. They have tried. These are the best toys dogs love them and so do I because I am saving money. Would highly recommend these toys for aggressive chewers.

Best I've seen

January 31, 2016

I have purchased the 2" jive ball for my chihuahua/miniature pincher mix. 12 lbs of terror. She loves it. Chews the heck out of it and it holds up perfectly! USA made!

The ONLY toy my boys can't destroy

January 28, 2016

I have two appx 70 pound lab/pit mixes who can destroy a toy for "heavy chewers" in 2 hours flat. I bought two of these balls after hearing recommendations about WP toys. They have had a few of the other toys from here and promptly destroyed them, but miracle of all miracles we have had these for six months with not a dent in them. We love them so much that when our friends brought over their 5 year old staffy foster who has the same toy destruction tendencies, we gave them one to take home and try. He has also not been able to destroy it, and carries it around with him everywhere. I would definitely recommend!

Only thing I would suggest being careful about is throwing it in the house as it is quite solid and bounces erratically.

****BEWARE****DANGER****

January 27, 2016

Before I begin, this is in no way meant to speak ill on the company and its efforts to provide safe durable toys for dogs.

The Jive Ball has major design flaws. First of all do not assume this is a medium size ball such as a tennis ball which looks identical in size to the eye. It is in fact just a fraction smaller. If you notice in the video provided by West Paws, at the top of this page, you will never see the ball in the throwing stick under the cradle. In the video you will see the owner place the cradle on top of the ball but you will not see her pick up that ball. That is because it will slip out. You will also notice in her throw she appears to be throwing it side arm, again, its because if she attempts to throw it over hand it will slip out. Now imagine your dogs throat as that cradle. Instead of the ball needing to be forced into position it slips in and has room to move.

Next the texture. The Jive Ball has a very smooth surface. Combine that with your dogs saliva all over it and guess what, you have a recipe for disaster. According to Dr. Andrew Jones DVM the most common cause of choking is "A ball that's a little too small, that's a little bit slippery that can just lodge in the back of their throats" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_yiQ_I5DU1M

Finally the strength of the ball is a double edged sword. Yes its durable and will last but its impossible to manipulate once its stuck in the throat.

On Jan 21, 2016 I lost my Dog Opie while playing fetch with him in the park. Opie played fetch 6x a week for at least 30 minutes a day. We had to purchase the Jive because the store I went to didn't have any more "Boz Dog Ball" (which i highly recommend)

I feel the need to let anyone who may be considering this ball know the dangers. There isn't anything I can do to bring him back but if I can raise the awareness of the dangers I may be able to save a pup.

Please watch the Youtube link and learn how to do the Heimlich maneuver if God forbid you ever need to use it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_yiQ_I5DU1M

Be safe and have extra fun with your Pup in honor of Opie.

Jive Ball

January 26, 2016

Most toys last seconds with my pit mix but these balls really hold up! It's the only toy I can leave on the floor and not worry about a disastrous mess. It's become her security blanket when she's over excited and I am greeted with ball in mouth every time I come home. (Green is her favorite!)

A great company to deal with! Definitely worth the price!

Jive Ball

We love the Jive Ball! We are training our 22 month old pointer mix to fetch and this is a great toy for that! Great for traveling and keeping our dog busy! I hope it lasts as long as the kong bone we have.

Jive Ball

This is the second Jive Ball we've had. The first one is 3 years old and my pit mix just started to bite small pieces off of it. Well worth the price and she loves it!

FOREVER BALL

December 14, 2015

I can tell this one is going to last forever. He loves it. Bouncy. It is heavier than his other balls, and quite hard, so I have to be careful not to accidentally hit any of the dogs when I throw it. It's great. Made in the USA is the best part!
