West Paw’s most durable dog ball yet. Jive® is the only ball dogs need—bright, bouncy, and buoyant. Combat slobber by flinging it with a standard ball-thrower, then toss it in the dishwasher. Just don’t toss it out—it’s recyclable.

Like all of our Zogoflex® dog toys, Jive® is Made in the USA, Certified Safe and Guaranteed to Last.

We dare dogs to destroy Zogoflex. (And if they do, we replace it—free.)

Zogoflex® packs a long lifespan. If for any reason it doesn’t, we offer a free one-time replacement.

I can tell this one is going to last forever. He loves it. Bouncy. It is heavier than his other balls, and quite hard, so I have to be careful not to accidentally hit any of the dogs when I throw it. It's great. Made in the USA is the best part!

Not quite pit bull terrier proof.. but a great product

December 12, 2015

I have a 63# pit bull terrier mix, and while she was able to chew the large ball to pieces, it sure lasted longer than any other balls or toys she has had, which usually don't even last an hour or two. We have a swimming pool and weather permitting I do throw the ball into the pool, it's salt water pool so it's not bad for her, and it floats just fine, occasionally it kind of goes under a bit and she has no problem diving for it, she LOVES her balls. Hoping they replace at least one.. but will probably purchase again, and just won't let her keep it after our fetch session is over. West Paw is doing a great job.

Survived 3 German Shepherds

December 10, 2015

I purchased three each of hurley bones, tux toys and jive ball for my three German Shepherds. I am a veterinarian and they were recommended to me by a veterinary dentist as a toy for powerful chewers that won't destroy their teeth like the popular hard synthetic bones. I have had them for two months and so far they are holding up beautifully with all the dogs, including one that previously could only have balls that were literally designed for gorillas! Wonderful customer service and fast shipping as well. On top of that they were made in the USA and support less fortunate dogs. What is not to love?

Puppy 1, Jive 0

December 03, 2015

I love West Paw, and am very pleased with their customer service. I got three large Jives to replace a hurley, a tux, and a smaller jive, all three of which were destroyed by my power-chewing puppy. I decided to give them to her one at a time, just in case she managed to pull these apart, too. Sadly, it only took her one bite to put deep gouges in the first one, then less than 24 hours to start picking off pieces. She and I were both so disappointed! I had to take it away. The pieces she got off weren't big, but she likes to eat her toys, and I just can't risk a blockage. Knowing her, if I let her keep it with the small pieces coming off, she'll keep picking at it and pull off bigger chunks. I'm hanging on to the unused ones in hopes that, in another year or so, she'll get over her chewing phase and be able to play with toys that actually fit in her mouth again. I'm still deciding if the slightly chewed one will be sent for recycling or also kept for when she stops destroying every toy I give her. So, yeah, I'm disappointed, and my puppy is back to one toy and bored puppy behaviors.

All this being said, I still really do love this company. They have great customer service, the fact that they're made in the USA is a huge bonus to me, and their one-time replacement is hassle free. I also do like the fact that, even though I can't trade these toys in again, I can at least send them back so they can be recycled. Her original toys lasted several months and got her through the end of her teething before she put on enough muscle to have toy-killing jaws, and my friend with an adult pit says he can chew on his West Paw toys all day and doesn't damage them. Even though my power-chewer destroyed her first large jive very quickly, I highly recommend these toys to anyone with a dog less destructive than mine.

7 year-old Rosie is like a puppy with this ball

June 13, 2015

Rosie really loves this ball; I think it's because of the crazy way it bounces. She only plays indoors (she was found "on the streets") and has no interest in being outdoors. She acts so silly with the Zogoflex ball as it bounces off the walls and floor. If she accidentally drops it, it goes flying in an unpredictable direction and she likes that.

Bad for pool/lake and potentially dangerous.

May 30, 2015

While these are very tough which is fabulous as one of my border collies destroys even the guaranteed indestructible toys, I bought these for pool use and sadly cannot use them. The problem is they are too heavy. Yes, they do float but when tossed into water, they sink for a bit before they surface. Not good for dogs going in after them. I had 3 border collies madly paddling around trying to find the balls. On land, they can be a bit dangerous if you're not careful in throwing them (depending on the nature of your dog). They do bounce in a crazy manner which in a highly driven dog, like most border collies, it causes the dog to jump after them, twisting and leaping in ways that could get them hurt. So sadly, the three I bought went in the garbage.

Lg Jive Ball

May 13, 2015

This is our second jive ball. The first one was given to our 95lb boxer/lab mix as a gift a couple years ago. The ball was perfect, our dog loved it. The only reason we had to replace is that a neighbor kept it when it went into his yard. The ball arrived quickly and Harvey loves his new one just as much as the lost one.

Malinois Foolproof

March 30, 2015

I finally found the one and only ball that my Belgian Malinois can't destroy in less than a week. Mals are known for their incredible strength and chewing ability and I've spent a small fortune on other toys that promised to withstand my boy's abuse, but they were no match. I heard about your products and decided to give them a try and I'm more than delighted to report that I have now purchased three Jive Dog Balls, a Hurley Dog Bone and a Frisbee. Your products are far superior and I will never buy another toy anywhere else. Thank you for providing such incredibly durable, washable, and floatable fun toys!

My border collie has laid waste to every toy in the house except for her jive ball. Was so impressed with how durable it is that I bought two for a friend's pit bulls. They love their jive balls, too - the first toys that they can't destroy. We love them so much, we just got the jive bones and are equally impressed with them. Excellent toys that stand up to abuse!

Jive Ball

March 10, 2015

My mom found me on the streets and no one ever claimed me. Instead of having me euthanized she chose to work with me. She came real close to getting rid of me for the fact that I will chew and eat anything. Glass, fiberglass, aluminum, steel is nothing for me to chew through, rocks, sticks, you name it, I've chewed it. So mom contacted a family friend who has the same breed as I am. He said to get the Jive Ball for me. I played with it for about a week, and lost full interest.. Don't get discouraged there. Keep reading. Mom found out why I didn't want my ball. My bitty kitty pal would attack me any time I tried to get it. So mom put a stop to that when she realized what was going on. After that. There can be 30 balls and toys in the house and mom tells me "Get your ball" I always with out fail, no matter where in the house and how long it takes, I always bring her my Jive Ball. I've chewed on that thing for hours and days and weeks and months, and mom laughs at me because it's the only thing I've had in my mouth that wasn't destroyed after I was done with it. It's saved a lot of money, anger, frustration, and parental fights. Just don't give up if your pup/dog don't like it at first, or stops playing with it. It's been well worth the money in more ways than one.
I'm a Malanois Shepherd, I live with two pits, and not a one of us have been able to destroy the Jive Ball.
