Tux Treat Toy

Granny Smith
Aqua Blue

To dogs, Tux® is the magic oracle of treats. Peanut butter, biscuits, and meaty bits mysteriously appear within it, begging to be gnawed free. But even emptied, the fun isn’t over—Tux® floats, flings, bounces, goes in the dishwasher and survives serious chew sessions. We consider it one of our toughest dog toys. Measures 5".

Like all of our Zogoflex® dog toys, Tux is recyclable, Made in the USA, Certified Safe and Guaranteed to Last.
U.S. Patent No. D858,162.

Treats Get Eaten, Not The Toy

Tux is super durable.  Dogs will love getting to chew this toy, especially when stuffed with dog treats. You'll love that when the chew session is over, this dog toy is still in one piece.  And after a quick run through the dishwasher - it's good as new!

We dare dogs to destroy Zogoflex. (And if they do, we replace it—free.)

Zogoflex® packs a long lifespan. If for any reason it doesn’t, we offer a free one-time replacement.

Durability Rating

Ranking = 5; Perfect strength for tough chewers. These extremely durable dog toys were designed to satisfy serious chewers.

Seeing is believing - these are tough dog toys!

When everyone claims to make ultra-tough dog toys, it is hard to know if a dog toy is really as tough as people advertise.  Well, watch for yourself and see why doggie daycares choose to use Zogoflex dog toys in their play rooms.

Easy clean-up: Zogoflex goes right into the dishwasher.

It’s easy to sanitize Zogoflex® at home—just pop it on the top shelf of your dishwasher.

Zogoflex floats—making a splash for water-happy hounds.

For dogs who love to swim (or just need a distraction in the bathtub), Zogoflex® stays afloat.

Chew OR Play - Buying the right dog toy

Yeah, all Zogoflex dog toys are guaranteed, but not all were designed to be chew toys.  While some dogs love to chew, some love to chase - So, be sure to get the toy that bet fits your dog's style.  Need help?  You're in luck, we have a guide just for you!

Tough Fun.

Dog toys made from Zogoflex® material are the best of everything.  Really!  These toys are durable. They aren't rigid, so they are gentle on teeth. They float. They are eco-friendly. Most important, they are FUN!

extreme chewer

December 18, 2013

We have a rescue dog that we are told appears to be a lab and corgi mix. At first, she was so weak and ill at 11 months, that we could not get her to play with anything. She barely even ate her food. But now that she is healthy she is in a state of perpetual motion and chews everything she can find. I have given her several different types of dog chew toys and she destroys them in no time. I have to watch her contantly to make sure she is not ingesting something from these toys.

Finally, there is a toy that is a challenging shape for her and that she has not yet been able to break into pieces. She loves the tux as well as the hurley and the balls. Thank goodness for this product line. She can chew on them off and on for long periods of time and I do not have to worry. These produts are fantastic!!!!

Great for my powerful Pit!

November 13, 2013

Our 3yr old female Pit can destroy just about anything in a few minutes. Her first Tux lasted 8 months! She's on her third one - we love the Westpaw replacement policy! She is able to chew through the thinner plastic in the center, leaving the three nubs scattered around the yard. We would love to see a solid version of the Tux.

have a relentless chewer? get the tux!

November 03, 2013

My 8th month old puppy is a relentless chewer who can systematically destroy a toy in an afternoon. I've tried all of the mainstream toys but they are all boring and don't hold his attention so it doesn't matter that they're strong. I got the Hurley in my Bark Box and after a week of my pup not even putting a dent in it I came directly to this website to purchase another. He actually prefers the Tux to the Hurley--I think because it has the unpredictable bounce and whatnot he is just more interested in it. Weeks have gone by and it looks brand new! If you have a dog who is chewing you out of house and home you MUST get this toy. I've recommended it to friends with dogs like mine and they've all gotten them and love it too!

Tux likes his Tux

October 01, 2013

My dog Tux is a TOUGH chewer. I have tried toys that have been advertised "virtually indestructible" even going so far as purchasing a chew toy that was said to be "tiger tested". Apparently tigers do not have the jaw power of a Bull Terrier/Pit Bull mix as that product only lasted a week. I am pleased to say that the Tux has lasted a week and a half with only minor inroads. I think that we have a week or two before he gets a chunk out of one of the sections but the fact that it is guaranteed and will be replaced is a God send. If you are interested in having Tux test out your products for toughness he has some down time in his schedule and we can fit you in for some product testing.

Love the Tux! I stuff them

October 01, 2013

Love the Tux! I stuff them with whatever - treats, kibble, yogurt, peanut butter, ground raw food, mashed fruit, various concoctions of the former - and freeze them. My two Huskies get a solid half hour chewing time out of this. More if I put something sticky like PB in the bottom, and the really great part is that I don't end up with a wad of soggy, unreachable food in the bottom like we do with a Kong.

Please please PLEASE make a smaller size! I know so many small dogs who would LOVE a Tux, but it's just too big.

I recommend this product for anyone with aggressive chewers!! Lola my American Bulldog/Irish Wolfhound puppy has never had a toy last this long! We are going on about 3 weeks with our Tux and it has not a single bite mark so far!! Best 25 dollars I have ever spent!!!

Tux Dog Toy!

August 30, 2013

Love the new Tux toys I got for my two German Shepards! Me and my wife found west paw design toys while vacationing in Telluride Colorado and have loved them ever since. Kong toys cant even compete with you guys. Need to supply more pet stores here in Sacramento CA!

Tux - too big for my Bichon

June 01, 2013

Seems like a great product for a large dog. Unfortunately I have a Bichon and must have misread the description of the size of the product. I have a friend with a large Shepherd and the tux will find a good home with her.

This puppy can't get enough

May 02, 2013

We have a new Siberian Husky puppy (8 weeks old) and he absolutely loves this toy. We put a treat in the middle and let him at it. It does take him a while to get it out, but that keeps him busy and out of his normal 'puppy' mode. He's teething, so the durability of this item is really appreciated. He chews on this toy constantly, even without hiding a treat inside. Very good buy for this puppy

My dogs love this!

April 29, 2013

My strong chewing, 110 pound Weimaraner, and my ridiculously aggressive chewing Golden Retriever both LOVE the Tux! Ollie, the Golden, loves to chase it as it bounces crazily around, then carry it around in his mouth for hours, stopping occasionally to gnaw on it. Zeke, out Weimaraner, loves to just hold it in his paws and chew away on it. Both dogs usually destroy their toys in a matter of days, (Ollie in a matter of minutes, sometimes), but all 3 of the products that we have bought from West Paws Designs have held up perfectly; it's been 3 months so far, and there is barely a tooth mark on any of them. We have the large Jive ball, the large Hurley bone, and the Tux, which we use as a training tool for Ollie, stuffing it with peanut butter when we leave the house. He loves it! It helps distract him from destructive chewing on other things in the house, like furniture, shoes, drywall, toilet paper....well, you get the picture!
I only wish I could purchase the products locally. I have asked out local pet supply store to look into carrying your products, and hope they are able to soon!
