Many years ago I had purchased one of these for a dog that Carried a bowling ball around , she enjoyed this toy the most. She would carry, sleep and even bath with it, she passed away and the next fur baby received the same Zisc, it was stolen but after they had poisoned her. The creeps brought it back. She died with it in her bed. I now have a German Shepherd who destroyes EVERYTHING. but this same Zisc. So if you ask me what ever the cost or where ever I have to go. I WOULD BUY IT AGAIN. Thank You

Far Out!

June 01, 2015

I was a little skeptical after reading some reviews on how this would stand up to my dog. I tested the first half hour of play. Not enough to review? Think again. My dogs last frisbee was completely destroyed and he was left with a chipped tooth and bloody tongue within 30 minutes. This frisbee goes the distance, it doesn't even have a dent in it yet! It does drop a little quickly comparing to normal frisbee's, and my dog has to work a little harder to catch it, but I'm okay with that. My only complaint is that it is hard to throw once there is a bunch of slobber on it! Truly a great product and I love that I can wash his toys in the dishwasher.

The best flyer on the market!

I love all things West Paw Design; however, the Zisc is our favorite! My male German Shepherd dog, Roscoe, will literally not play with any other frisbee. We play year round, which in MN also means some very cold winters and the Zisc performs beautifully throughout the seasons.

Keep up the great work!

Love the Zisc!

My 8 month old chocolate lab got this as a gift this past weekend. She's a professional chewer. She has not made so much as a mark on this disc in 3 days and she has gallantly tried! We are totally impressed! We can't wait to use it in the pool. I also love the ability to sanitize it in the dishwasher. Definitely a perk with a crazy puppy. I will buy more in the zogoflex line. Great toy!

By far the best frisbee out there

May 13, 2015

This is hands down My American Staffordshire's favourite toy. He loves fetching it, chewing it, flinging it around, and the best part is that it's EXTREMELY durable. He loves toys but destroys them all within minutes. We've tried a bunch of different frisbees, including so called "indestructible" kinds and they last maybe two trips to the park. I don't know how West Paw does it but this frisbee is soft, flies well, and holds up really well to his chewing and strong jaws. These frisbees last him about 6 months with multiple uses per week. An amazing product. I just wish more pet stores carried them in our area.

Zisc - Beats all other discs paws down!

May 11, 2015

I have two dogs that LOVE their zisc frisbees. I've had other brands and one of my dogs destroys them in a matter of a few minutes. Not the Zisc! Despite his power-chew jaws, the Zisc remains solid and intact. (This goes for all the West Paw Designs toys I own, and I have several!) My other dog loves to catch and fetch, and after one afternoon of playtime with the Zisc and seeing both enjoy it so much, I promptly bought a second one.
I highly recommend the West Paw Designs zogoflex toys, especially to those with some powerful jaws. I have three Hurleys, and those are their indoor favorite toy. I've had Tux for a year and half and it has virtually no signs of wear despite lots of play. Worth every penny!

In our breezy mountain valley, this is our go-to disc. It is easily the best disc to fly into a headwind, with enough mass and stiffness to huck really hard, flat and far, but soft enough to be my border collie's favorite flying toy. She has yet to damage one, but has lost several in our ditch-they float away when she is cooling her paws! If you know how to throw a frisbee, you can fly this baby 70 yards plus easily into a mid breeze, though they don't fly as well with a tail wind.

This is my shepherd mixes' favorite frisbee. She has several different types of discs, but this is by far her favorite. She has had it for two years and if it had not been buried under snow, she would still have it. She catches it with ease, and she loves sailing through the air to catch it in mid flight. No problem with it flying- it easily sails the 75 feet or so from one end of the yard to the other. Great product!

Zisc Flying Disk - Worth the Investment

January 05, 2015

Ok, so I read the two negative reviews for this product and just don't get them. I bought one of these discs initially, thinking that my boxer puppy would demolish it like the four Wham-O Frisbees she'd already chewed to smithereens. Not only did it last, I bought two additional Ziscs to make certain we were never in a place without one! All 3 discs are still intact 1 yr later, despite the destructive attempts by my puppy. They are heavier than traditional plastic discs but you adjust your throw accordingly and they sail just fine (about 70% of what a Frisbee will do). WORTH THE INVESTMENT!

We have two heeler dogs that are very high energy and in need of a job. Normally I use pink racquetballs to work the dogs but in winter we quickly lose the balls.
These discs are a huge hit with the dogs, favorite toy to date. The discs do get slimy with slobber and they are heavy. Think flying chew toy and not frisbee disc.
That being said, after getting use to throwing these discs they are flying far and are showing great durability.
