great product...but buy it elsewhere

September 08, 2013

love it. My dog literally lives for this Frisbee. we play daily...never miss a day. I have bought others and when she catches it she just spits it out. It has to be this one.....HOWEVER...

the cost of buying from this website was absolutely ridiculous! ticket price was ok but SHIPPING WAS INSANE!!! would you believe 2 little rubber discs came to a credit card charge of $100.00 ??!! Frisbees were total of $30 then $46 shipping (insane already) then there was a $15 charge from the carrier...then the difference of USD TO CAD....came to $99.85.

I will find another retail outlet or Ebay for this purchase next time....and there will be a next time.

indestructible going of 3 years!

September 01, 2013

Bought this over 3 years ago after my border collie mix chewed up every other "indestructible" toy I bought her (she has very sharp teeth and a single track mind to destroy anything that fits in her mouth. This toy, along with z shaped tug toy and ball have lasted more than the usual two weeks, even with the addition of a second chew happy dog. Great poducts.

Too heavy

August 14, 2013

It was too heavy for our little 13 lb bichon-poo. But looked like a good sturdy toy for larger dog. Toby likes plush toys better.

The best there is

August 06, 2013

My golden retriever mix lives to play frisbee and go swimming and we've bought several of these for him and he loves them. They're suppose to be industructable but he always manages to chew out the middles. We've bought other brands in the past but the zisk lasts way longer than the others and even with the middle chewed out he still loves it! Highly reccommended.

Great Toy the Zisk

July 21, 2013

Our dog is either playing or sleeping. She loves the Zisk! She will bring it to us to play or throw it with her mouth and catch it herself.

good product but..

July 16, 2013

It is a good product, but can be torn apart over time. My Shepherd loves it, but after some amount of time she started to bite the rim of it off. This is my second one, as it does seem to take her some time to destroy. So, I give it a good review overall, but just fyi that the bigger dogs may chew and pull pieces of the rim off.

Best Disc Yet!

July 10, 2013

This disc is by far the best ever that we have tried. In a family that breeds border collies and papillons, we go through many discs each year. However, this one stands up to the challenge....even with our 57 pound border collie, "Blaze," who has also been nicknamed "jaws." He has been known to play fetch with an 8' long 2 x 4 and loves to be naughty by chewing on gutter downspouts and other heavy objects. Fortunately, he has mostly been trained out of this behavior - he tried to chew up the Zisc, but to no avail!

The only drawback to this disc is the weight....it is difficult to keep the disc aloft without throwing it farther than the dogs can run. Otherwise, this product is fantastic - keep up the good work!

West Paw Frisbee

June 03, 2013

I have a 10yr old GS and ever since he was a pup he has had a frisbee in his mouth. I use to buy the NylaBone Frisbee's. They would last him all year long. They dicontinued this wonderful product and I had to find something to replace it. We went through allot of frisbee's and finally I got him the Kong, thinking this would last like the Nylabone. WRONG...4 days he had the middle part totally gone. I finally found West Paw's and its been awesome! We have had it about 3 weeks and it still looks new and undamaged. I love the way it throws and its easy for him to pick up off the ground. He and I are happy campers. Thank you!!!

Zisc is the only one

May 21, 2013

This Zisc is the only one that I can find that will even remotely stand up to two Golden's and one Lab going in three different directions with this toy in their mouth. I have about 8 that they have damaged but still the absolute best that can be used by large strong dogs.

I am a huge disc fan: I played Ultimate for 15+ years and I have a now 9-year-old Aussie Shepherd who is a disc champion. I test every disc from every dog-toy manufacturer. I had great hopes for the Zisc, as I do like the Zygoflex material. However, the weighting is not great. Overall, it is too heavy to be truly aerodynamic. Moreover, the shape needs improvement. The weight should be focus in the rim of the disc. Currently, the Zisc is same thickness all over. Also, the outside of the rim should be curved to improve its flight.
I do like the Zisc, but it is not my current disc of choice for my daily disc use with my Aussie.
